Xander and Louise sparring. When a student feels ready they can give sparring a try. They’ll realize you win some and you lose some. Just keep doing your best and you’ll see the quality of your martial arts increase.

Free soloing over the water. Deep water and one of the instructors will always be a couple of meters on the landing site. This goes for cliff jumping and climbing.

We strongly encourage interacting with nature. We’ll be doing our best to catch and release wildlife. Here some spear fisherman showed us some of their catch.

Here Izzy (and Victoria out of site of the photo) found a piece of burnt wood and made some type of potion along with finding colorful rocks. They found this spot on their own within view of our tiny camp on the beach. We encourage kids to explore and be creative with stuff they find on the beach. Still not sure what the story is with the charcoal face paint. It’s a somewhat free range experience. (looks like they also manage to swipe a bag of Doritos!)

This is how we roll. It’s about a 1km walk to the little rocky beach from the studio. Then back up hill the same way. We all take turns carrying gear equally. We are recommending reef shoes this camp because they can be used for all purposes of walking on ground, on the rock beach, climbing, in shallow water etc. We highly recommend you buy these early so they can break them in a couple weeks early. Not fun dealing with blisters on camp.

View of our little hang out bay. We always have at least 2 instructors. One on a paddle board near the landing/climbing site and the other overlooking the whole bay keeping an eye on the camp. Summer temps can be up to 35C in the summer but the water in the med this time of year is perfect to cool down.

Some of the camp kids wondered across the bay swimming and exploring the area. They can go as far as they want as long as they have someone with them and they are within eye site of an instructor. Otherwise, it’s a free range experience.
